Pow Wow
There was an event, “Pow Wow” in the gym in Willamette University. A lot of people went there. First at all, People looked around near the entrance. There were many shops of Native American goods. People could buy finger puppets of animals there. They are made by wool and very cute. The master next to tables said a joke and made costumers fun. These days, a lot of Japanese think of Japan, and feel so blue every time, so the event was good to change their negative mind. Next, people went to main floor in the event. There were a lot of people who made up, and put on colorful ornaments and plumes of big birds. They were dancing in the little group. Little boys and girls were also dancing. Native American culture is inherited by generation to generation. Japanese student could remember Japanese cultural tradition which was also inherited dancing such as naruko-odori and soran-bushi, by older people. Many people who include each generation join these dancing. Most students realized again that young generation like us ought to think a great deal of leaving a fortune in everywhere.
